SCHADS Award pay steps up within each level by pay point. From 1 July 2026, a Social and community services (SACS) employee at Level 2 starts at $36.22/hr on pay point 1 and reaches $39.53/hr at pay point 4. Full-time, part-time and casual rates for every pay point in every stream:

From 1 December 2026: home care (disability care) rates rise up to 15%

Home care employees doing disability care (Schedule E, clause 17.1) get an interim increase of 15% — 14.96% at Level 4 pay point 2 and 13.31% at Level 5 pay point 2 — from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 December 2026. Until then the 1 July 2026 rates above apply. Home care aged-care rates and the social and community services stream are not part of this increase; the remaining increases arrive with the new classification structure on 1 October 2027.

On call overnight or over a weekend? SCHADS pays $25.66 for each 24 hours (or part) on call from Monday to Friday and $50.81 for each 24 hours (or part) at other times, including weekends and public holidays (cl 20.11), plus a 2-hour minimum if you're recalled.
