The Australian national minimum wage is $24.95 per hour ($948.10 per 38-hour week) until 30 June 2026. From 1 July 2026 it rises 6% to $26.44/hour ($1,004.90/week) under the Annual Wage Review 2026 decision. Casuals add 25% loading ($31.19/hr now, $33.05/hr from 1 July 2026). Junior workers aged 16-20 are paid a percentage of the adult rate.
