What FairWork Mate is
FairWork Mate is an Australian workplace law platform spanning three tiers: a free suite of pay calculators and editorial content that ranks organically; an AI advisor priced per-use and per-month that answers Fair Work questions with citations to live awards, the National Employment Standards, and Australian case law; and a B2B Copilot subscription for HR teams.
The wedge is free tools. The flywheel is recurring AI subscriptions and a recurring-share partnership with Employment Hero. We’re building the workplace equivalent of what Canva did for design — a tool everyone uses individually that pulls businesses in behind it.
Why now
The Australian workplace is being restructured by legislation across the next 18 months. Every change forces employers and employees to look up their position — and a generic chatbot can’t answer correctly without grounded Australian sources.
