Zone Bowling Pay Rates 2026: Ride Operator, Crew, Casual & Junior Pay

Zone Bowling is a ten-pin bowling and amusement chain with venues in shopping centres across the country, run by The Entertainment and Education Group alongside its Timezone arcades. Venue teams cover lane and games attendants, party hosts and duty managers, rostered heavily around evening and weekend trade.

Zone Bowling roles are covered by the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020, which sets separate junior and adult rates for attendant and supervisory classifications. The Amusement, Events and Recreation Award pays juniors a percentage of the Grade 1 adult rate. From 1 July 2026 the junior minimums are:

• Under 17: $14.54/hr
• 17 years: $17.19/hr
• 18 years: $19.83/hr
• 19 years: $22.47/hr

Your rate must step up from the first full pay period after each birthday. Casual juniors add the 25% loading on top of these figures. An enterprise agreement's junior scale must leave you better off than this ladder overall.
