What award covers Rebel Sport workers?

Rebel team members are covered by the General Retail Industry Award (MA000004). Rebel is part of Super Retail Group (alongside Supercheap Auto, BCF and Macpac). The award sets the minimum — your pay can never go below it, whether you're on the award or a company enterprise agreement.

Check your role's minimum with our retail worker pay rate tool.

Rebel Sport adult hourly rates (21 and over)

As of 1 July 2025, the adult minimum hourly rates under the General Retail Industry Award are:

  • Retail Employee Level 2 (experienced, some supervision): $26.03/hr
  • Retail Employee Level 3 (skilled / specialist): $26.47/hr

From the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026, these award rates rise 4.75%.

  • Saturday: 125% — $31.80/hr
  • Sunday: 150% — $38.16/hr (casuals 175% — $44.52/hr)
