NSW public service clerk salaries 2026: Grades 1–12

From the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026, NSW public service clerks earn $78,000 (Grade 1, first year) to $178,369 (Grade 12, thereafter). A Grade 3/4 clerk earns $87,199 to $95,482, a Grade 5/6 $102,936 to $113,579 and a Grade 9/10 $133,348 to $146,945. These rates include the 3% rise from 1 July 2026, the last increase set by the Crown Employees (Public Sector – Salaries 2024) Award.
