Endeavour Group Enterprise Agreement 2026: Dan Murphy's and BWS Pay and Conditions
How the Endeavour Group Retail Agreement 2025 works for Dan Murphy's and BWS teams, how it sits above the General Retail Industry Award, and how to check your pay is correct.

Is Endeavour Group covered by an enterprise agreement?
Yes. Endeavour Group — the parent company of Dan Murphy's and BWS — has a current single-enterprise agreement for its retail drinks teams: the Endeavour Group Retail Agreement 2025, approved by the Fair Work Commission in November 2025 with a nominal expiry of 30 June 2029. It sits on top of the General Retail Industry Award 2020 (MA000004) — the award remains the legal floor your agreement pay can never fall below.
The agreement covers the usual store roles across both banners: customer service, registers, fill and stock, online and click-and-collect. Endeavour's hotel venues are a separate part of the business with their own arrangements — this agreement is the retail one.
How Endeavour agreement pay compares to the award
Because of the Better Off Overall Test, the agreement has to leave team members better off overall than the General Retail Industry Award. In practice agreements like this lift the base rate and adjust how some penalties are structured.
For the current verified hourly rates by age and employment type at each banner, see our Dan Murphy's pay rates 2026 and BWS pay rates 2026 pages, and check the award floor with the retail award pay rate tool. We keep dollar figures on those pages so they stay current and sourced.
Key conditions the agreement sets
Beyond base rates, the agreement sets out penalty rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays, casual loading, overtime, allowances, and rostering and break entitlements — including the late-trade patterns that come with liquor retail. The exact structure is in the approved agreement document on our corpus page.

Other Endeavour Group agreements
The retail agreement isn't the group's only one. Its supply-chain arm has the Endeavour Group Ltd (Prowine) and United Workers Union Enterprise Agreement 2023–2026, which passed its nominal expiry on 1 May 2026 — it keeps operating until replaced, and passing nominal expiry is the point where a replacement gets bargained. If you work in the supply chain rather than a store, that's the document to check.
How to check your pay is right
Compare your payslip against your classification level in the agreement, then against the award floor. If the numbers don't add up, run them through our underpayment checker. Large-employer underpayments do happen — checking takes a few minutes and you can generally recover up to six years of any shortfall.
Where to read the agreement
The full approved agreement is on our Endeavour Group Retail Agreement 2025 page and on the Fair Work Commission's Find an Enterprise Agreement register (search "Endeavour Group"). The SDA also publishes summaries for members. For the bigger picture on how agreements work, see our guide to enterprise agreements in Australia.
